Jezli Pacheco
Artist Jezli Pacheco
Born 1976, has lived since 1986 in the Southern California area. She has several solo and group shows behind her, Pacheco is always open to those that profess an interest in her work.
The work Jezli Pacheco creates has much of the experimental mixed with traditional imagery. From graphite, oil pastels, to her ceramic sculpture, and photography all of it has soft lines, gestural movement and very feminine content. Romantic, sensual, naive, spiritual, and so much more it translates well into a body of work that is dedicated to emotion.
It is the main subject in all the work presented. She has translated experiences, thoughts, and ideas into a creative body that explores feeling or sensation. From her "Mother and Child" series, to the humanoid landscapes that emerge, she explores fear, love, regret, happiness, exploration itself. There's always something behind every image or sculpture.
