From Los Angeles, California to the Gold Coast of Africa, International Designer and Co-Owner, T. Cordelle Louis, brings a multi-cultural twist to the Industry, through her imaginative and brilliant interior design schemes. With thirteen years of experience under her belt, a number of awards and nominations, she has received recognition in both the Commercial and Residential fields. As one of the youngest board members of the International Furniture and Design Association (IFDA), she held the seat of Vice President of Public Relations for two years running. Her sophisticated style is unique, utilizing the best of the old and the new, by integrating basic design principles with modern technology. Mastering the concept of “pleasing the client within the design boundaries.” T. Cordelle was a key member of the development team for The Regatta (located in Marina Del Rey, CA) and The Grand (located in Los Angeles, CA). Recently, she headed the Architectural Design Committee at The Remington - Private Estates, as well as having carried the title of the Director of Design during her six year employment with the sixth-ranking developer in Southern California and the top-ranking national developer of condominium conversions.
T. Cordelle Louis brings true versatility to the industry, creating her own furniture line along with her interior design firm in the Los Angeles area which features: residential, commercial and contract design.

Jimmy Louis,
Jr.
President
Where
science meets design, Jimmy Louis is there. He brings
to Design Theory the latest and greatest that technology
offers to the design world. Born and raised in the Big
Apple, he is accustomed to true elegance and simplistic
style even at six degrees Fahrenheit. As a Syracuse University
graduate, with dual Bachelor degrees, in Commercial Arts
and Psychology, he heads the Marketing and Advertising
side of the company, in addition to being co-owner. His
philosophy is simple, "if you approach a buyer understanding their needs, then you can fulfill their wants." Having worked in various facets of retail management as well as starting his own flourishing freelance photography business, Jimmy has a handle on the day to day functions that make a business successful.
Spending the past three years as an Editor and Feature Photographer for the number-one import-car customizing magazine in the US, he has made the return to the world of artistic photography, as the store will feature his new collection.

Mayme-Royale Johnson
Senior Interior Designer
Through her flamboyant flair and imaginative theme design, Mayme-Royale Johnson adds refinement and finesse along with thirty-seven years of experience to the design team of Design Theory. Initiating her career in Washington D.C., Mayme-Royale launched "A Touch of Class," her own retail decorative accessory shop and design studio, which was just the tip of the mark she would make on Capitol Hill. Serving as a member on the President's Committee for the Restoration of Capitol Hill under President Carter and a two-year recipient of The National Symphony Orchestra's "Outstanding Design Award" for the Designer Show Houses, are just a few of her exceptional achievements. Based on her established track record she expanded her design services to both a national and international level, building a clientele inclusive of several Fortune 500 companies and film studios, such as: Hughes Aircraft, Northrop, Rockwell, Solar Records, Warner Brother Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Paramount Studios. Her relocation to the West Coast was inevitable, as California became the base of her clientele. The headquarters of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles and the Cafeteria and Country Store of C.S.U.L.A. are two of her most celebrated projects. Her design projects have taken her across the globe to France and Italy, as well as East and West Africa.

Bert L. Taylor

With clean lines and a contemporary style, Bert L. Taylor brings his forty-plus years of experience in the industry to Design Theory. Starting his career in Washington D.C. as a promising architectural interior designer with a passion for contemporary design, he was instantly recognized in the commercial field. The Sierra Leone and Nigerian Embassies, as well as the Washington Bureau offices of Johnson Publishing Co. Inc. were a few of Bert's first premier projects, catapulting him to award-winning status. He was enticed to relocate to the West Coast by Golden Oak, Inc. as Director of Designer/Sales and contracted to design their entire furniture line. In addition, he has designed furniture for a multitude of manufacturers, highlighting Arcadia Furniture, Inc. Over the years he has become renowned for his futuristic designs, expanding his career into the educational field and the film industry. For six years he taught Architecture at UCLA and Cal Tech Long Beach Extension Schools, furthermore venturing into a "new frontier" by custom designing furniture for several segments of the television series Star Trek – The Next Generation. Therefore, through a variety of achievements Bert L. Taylor gives strength, versatility, and stability to Design Theory.
