Hidenori Iwagami was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. Tea ceremonies, bamboo forests and rock gardens surrounded his youth and helped him develop his keen sense of zen, peaceful harmony with the nature, and balance within in a space. Hidé (pronounced Hee-day) obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona. He started his professional career in Southern California in the areas of retail and commercial architecture as well as working with educational and government facilities. His connection to the rhythms of nature has brought about his awareness of the importance of sustainable design from early on in his career. Not only does he manage to create a space to fulfill both your needs and function, but he also envelopes the client’s surroundings with a sense of sustainability as a LEED-Accredited Professional.
